Richard founded Sensation Band with a single conviction: that live music should do more than entertain—it should transform an occasion. Drawing on years at the intersection of performance and event production, he built a company where artistic excellence and client obsession aren't competing values but the same thing.
His eye for talent, relentless standards and instinct for what makes a room feel electric have shaped everything Sensation has become. Off the stage, you'll find him with family, on a snowboard, racing go-karts, or planning the next chapter.

Jason Silver is the musical heartbeat of Sensation. A world-class keyboardist who cut his teeth touring with Mark Ronson, he brings a rare blend of technical mastery and instinctive feel to everything he touches—whether conducting the band from the keys or curating a setlist that builds a room to fever pitch.
His musical intelligence informs every booking Sensation makes. He also happens to be a keen snowboarder, a committed footballer, and the kind of person who makes everyone around him feel genuinely seen.

Yasmine is the calm in the centre of every storm. She brings the same discipline she applies to marathon training to managing Sensation's most complex events—meticulous, energetic and always one step ahead. A passionate cook and well-seasoned traveller, she has an innate understanding of what makes an experience feel both effortless and memorable.

A Philosophy graduate who grew up between New Zealand and the world, Pippy brings genuine curiosity and sharp attention to every brief she handles. Her ability to ask the right questions—then act decisively on the answers—is what clients remember. She's equally at home scouring fashion week as she is building event timelines, and both inform the considered taste she brings to her work.

Phil holds a Master's in acoustic engineering and an unshakeable belief that no room is beyond saving. The technical architect behind Sensation's sonic signature, he transforms any space—however acoustically hostile—into something that feels immersive, precise and alive. A cycling obsessive who conquers mountains on two wheels as readily as he does with a soundboard.
