Founded by musical producer and director Jason Silver, the band was created to bring the confidence, musicality and understated glamour of the world’s great live stages into the most beautifully curated weddings. This is world-class live music, reimagined for an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Jason’s career — touring internationally as a keys player with Mark Ronson and collaborating with many other globally respected artists — gave him rare access to musicians operating at the very highest level. From that world, Sensation Band was formed: a collective chosen through reputation, chemistry and instinct rather than audition.

We absolutely love performing at weddings here in the UK — from elegant city celebrations to country estates and beautifully styled marquee weddings in the countryside. Each setting brings its own energy, whether it’s a polished urban party or a relaxed, open-air celebration that builds into an unforgettable night on the dancefloor.
Alongside our UK work, we’re fortunate to perform at destination weddings across the world. That experience means we bring a level of planning, precision and production that goes beyond the band itself. With an experienced in-house team supporting every booking, we take care of logistics, technical detail and seamless delivery — allowing you to enjoy your day knowing everything is handled.
How do the logistics Work?
For UK Weddings, our sound team generally arrive first on site in the morning to set up the stage / lighting / sound equipment. The band arrive to the venue for soundcheck a few hours before the celebration starts. If we are performing in the ceremony we will then be at the venue all day until our final set.
For venues within approximately an hour of London, the band will depart following the performance, with our sound team remaining on site to pack down and load out once the celebration has finished.
For venues slightly further afield — where travel would mean returning in the early hours of the morning — overnight accommodation may be required. This allows the team to remain fully focused on delivering an exceptional performance, without the distraction of a long journey afterwards, ensuring the best possible energy on the night and an unforgettable party for you and your guests.
