dancefloors
A dancefloor is often overlooked, but its size, shape and position have a real impact on how guests use the space and engage with the performance. We’ll advise on the right size for your guest numbers and make sure it sits correctly in relation to the stage and the room. Get it wrong and the floor feels cramped, or too spread out to hold energy.
Just as importantly, a proper dancefloor clearly defines where people should dance. Unlike carpet or soft flooring, it’s designed to be danced on — giving guests confidence to move properly without spreading across the room or worrying about footing.
We offer two main options. The first is modular hire dancefloors in standard finishes such as black, white, parquet wood, chequerboard, infinity and LED pea-light floors. The second is fully bespoke dancefloors, allowing for custom shapes including circles, ovals, rounded corners and curved designs, as well as unlimited finishes and printed graphics.
We supply a full range of dancefloors and will help you choose an option that works practically, looks right in the space, and supports the overall flow and energy of the event.
White Seamless Dancefloor with Initials and Gold Trim
Our clients got married at the Shangri La in the Shard, London. They wanted huge impact in the room, so they opted for a custom made white gloss dancefloor. Seamless, with gold trim edging, and the intials of the bride and groom embossed on the floor.
Art Deco/Stepped Corner Seamless Dancefloor with Gold Trim
Designed for a luxury wedding at Claridge’s Hotel Ballroom, London, this dancefloor was created to sit comfortably within the ballroom’s Art Deco architecture. The stepped corners of the floor mirror the detailing found around the room’s windows, allowing it to feel integrated rather than added in.
The dancefloor was carefully shaped to meet the thrust at the front of the stage, ensuring a clean, continuous line where stage and floor connect. The stage fascia was finished in pink velvet, chosen by the bride to complement the room and add a soft, premium contrast to the architectural detailing.
Seamless Black Gloss Dancefoor - reflective Perfection
Designed for a Bond-themed event, this seamless black gloss dancefloor was specified to maximise reflections and enhance the visual impact of the performance. The high-gloss finish captured the gold-painted dancers and surrounding lighting, creating strong mirrored imagery that became a central feature of the room.
Traditional Parquet Modular Dancefloor
Parquet dancefloors work particularly well in traditional settings or for clients looking for a more natural, rustic feel — for example in marquees paired with festoon lighting and timber bars. As a modular system, they are supplied in standard 60 cm × 60 cm and 30 cm × 60 cm sections, allowing the overall size to be matched closely to the space and guest numbers. This also makes parquet one of the more cost-effective dancefloor options.
